Centaurium Aviation MRO receives authorisation for the Sion site

Belp, 8 July 2024 - Centaurium Aviation MRO receives authorisation for the Sion site.

Centaurium Aviation MRO, provider of aircraft maintenance and repair services, is pleased to announce that the company has received official approval for maintenance operations at its new site in Sion.

 

Centaurium Aviation MRO has taken over RUAG’s MRO base for civil helicopters in Sion as of 1 July 2024. With the takeover, Centaurium Aviation MRO (CAMRO for short) is ensuring their continued existence and is taking over activities and customer contracts as well as the existing employees.

 

With the authorisation, CAMRO is entitled to maintain the following types at the Sion site: AS350 (Arriel 1 & 2) / EC130 (Arriel 2) / MBB-BK 117 (Arriel 2) / AS 365 N3 (Arriel 2C) / Bell 505 (Arrius 2R) & Bell 429 (PWC PW 207D).
